A physician who wanted a supplement worth recommending.
Dr. Siva Gandu is a board-certified internal medicine physician based in North Carolina. His passion for health started at home and in his community. He wanted to improve the health of his own family and the community he practices in. He kept returning to the same idea: natural interventions, done well, can meaningfully shift how people feel and how their bodies function over time.
But when he looked at the supplement industry, he saw a category built for shelves, not for patients. Marketing outpaced sourcing. Labels made claims that testing did not support. Standardization was rare. Education was rarer.
So, he set out to build the kind of supplement company he wished existed, one that would treat its customers the way a good physician treats a patient. That meant leading with quality, standardization, education, and innovation, the four principles Mushnoom is still organized around today.
Mushnoom is a supplement I give to my own family. That is the bar.

Dr. Gandu did not build Mushnoom alone. A founding circle of physicians has helped shape the company reviewing formulations, questioning claims, and holding the work to a clinical standard.
